THE COMMUNITY MEDICINE CABINET came into being in 2014.
With three shelves supporting a clinical practice, classes, and an evolving apothecary, the cabinet is a resource for interpersonal and ecological communities. The work connects people to each other and nature. By supporting humans and other animals to cultivate relationships with plants and each other, the cabinet makes room for the collective to embrace interdependence and practice reciprocity.
Over the last decade, Madalyn has taken a deep dive into the relationship between the plant kingdom and the body. Healing work is often described as an art and a science. This work makes those connections visible.
Our relationship with the plant kingdom is one that transcends our speciation.
